Private Therapy Practice /  “Out of Network”

Most people contact me through personal referrals from current or former clients. I’m honored to have received that trust for 20 years.

I have no insurance contracts. My clients pay me directly for therapy. Payments can be made with credit / debit card or HSA (Health Savings Accounts) cards.

To use Out of Network insurance benefits, clients pay for therapy personally, and with the receipts I provide, submit the required form to their insurance company for the plan’s portion of reimbursement after meeting the deductible.

“Good Faith Estimate” Notice:

Under current law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

I will always share my best estimate for costs of therapy orally as we talk about your therapy.  Please let me know if you would like these details in written form.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
